254 Texas Counties Allow Crossbow During Archery Season

Many archery hunters do not feel that crossbows should be allowed to be used during the regular archery season unless the hunter is handicapped or elderly. But that didn't stop Texas Governor, Perry from allowing most of Texas to hunt with a crossbow. Grayson County is the only county to not allow crossbows during the regular archery season. Texas joins Pennsylvania and Michigan in the small field of states that allows the use of crossbows during archery season.
